Over the holidays I went to our daughter's house in Eagle Lake Texas. This area is land locked and is as flat as Louisiana. There is a lot of bird hunting there. My family's neighbor is a life long resident of this 3,000 person town. He owns a taxidermy business. B and S Taxidermy is one of the few businesses that are doing well in this small town. The only hunting I did was with a camera in his shop.
Many of these he has gotten himself and has them on display. His first bear.
His wife Shelly does a lot of the work but all the fine details are his work alone.
Here is one of our many nutria rats that are damaging our infrastructure.
A few cats
He also does many fish. Some skin mounts but he is going more to replications. I only took one fish picture of a trout skin mount he is selling. I post enough fish pictures so you just have to wait for the 2016 edition of my adventures.
Happy new year to all the CTF family.
Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that.
