I was getting amped up to ice fish Glasgo this year. Was talking to my father and he informed me that it was drained so low you could walk across the boat ramp to the rope swing. Did anything survive? We get big bass there every year and crappie. I'd hate to think that the DEEP let the lake be drained so much that we killed the fishery. Can you give me any info on this I don't want to waste my time fishing in dead water. I did not see it myself but was told the 26 foot deep hole by the cliff was a mere puddle a foot deep. Thanks very much for the response.

This sucks...... I have fished this lake for 30 years. It doesn't get a lot of pressure and is a great fishery. White perch crappie bass pickerel and load of bullhead and white cats. I even got some trout there last year. What happens to the fish when they drain it? Do they relocate them or just let the goons go in and snag them all out in low water? Really sad to see the death of a lake. Are there any plans to re stock all the different species in the lake?
