Things Today;

A lot of hard work. Lee, Eddie, and Mike stopped by to drop off the boats and helped me with some things. Lee will not be staying. His bride to be was worried. Here are some pictures.

When I was a fireman the saying was "If you see Hoop running go the other way". What does this tell you.

Boats from down the road brought to ???SAFE??? harbor.

Look at this one an excavator on a pile of dirt in the background.

Vehicles left on high ground for safety

House boarded up.

Genorater at the ready. Will put it up on the back porch later tonight. Over 4 feet higher.

Done!

All boats in and chocked and secured to each other.

More equipment along wall.

Even reenforced the overhead doors on the shed although they are rated for a storm like this. They are not rattling as much and this will aid in preventing blowing inward. My own idea and design.

Had time to cut some rass. First time in weeks due to the rain have been having. Ground still wet. LOTS MORE on the way banghead

Alitle breezy today already.

Try anything to keep from blowing over. My friend home. He is out of here.

Storm birds are swarming. Friggate birds.

Red at night??? This was our sunset but I don't think so.

Standby equipment; foul weather gear, boots, life jackets, and worse case EPIRB.

Till tomorrow if I have power.

Life is Good!

Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that.

Not worried about the smaller metal building. It is in an area that is somewhat protected. The large blue metal shed is a fortress (I HOPE!)

Looks like you have prepared well and the storm will be conquered in style!
But I'm still worried about you Hoop. Make sure you tell us ASAP that you are OK when the storm goes by.
