26 kids ages 3-14 braved the initial 55 degree temps, and fished this year. Just about the same as last year, and this one was as good or better than all of the rest !
For the delivery of freshly made pizzas and Hosmer sodas for the kids, and adults Did you know they do kid's pizza parties where they can make their own pizza ! ?
What a perfect day! The smiles and laughter of children.... it does a heart good. Great job by Paul to put this event together and thanks to everyone that helped to make today so special for the kids.
Joe, you're awesome!!! Everybody loved your the magic act!
It was a blast having LargeFry and his son along with me today. AJ has taught his son well, he's already a really good fisherman. He threw a jig and pig, a senko or a D/S all morning. For the most part, we found our fish holding tight under docks. We fished the places where he decided we shouuld go and stayed until he felt it was time to move-it was his day on the water I was just along for the ride. We ended up with a sunnie, a yellow perch 3-4 smallies and 3-4 largies including his beautiful 2.25lber on the jig under a dock.
Good Times!! Here's a bunch of pictures from the day
We'll never miss this again!!!!! Thank you to Paul,Paul,Jon,Mitch, JOE, and everyone!!!!!! This was soooooooo much better than ANY wedding!!!!! this is my favorite pic for some reason!!!!(yes our fish fit into a bait bucket!!!!)
her's a few few random pics from our best family day of the year!!!
We had a blast just cruising around the lake at times, and Oh yeah Woodski, Tmack, and DuckKiller, ...Brendan is to be addressed as "Captain" next time you see him!!! What a day!
I would also like a special thanks to Ryan(rickcee's son) and Zack(abrews son) for being such wonderful young men!!!!they helped out in a big way when Brendan took the news of the BDAY party cancellation pretty tough!!! Can't wait to fish with you guys!!!!
It was great to see everyone again and especially nice to talk with Mark(Gammabait) Thanks for the kind words and great conversation!!!!

What an awesome day. Truly another first class event put together by CTF and some of it’s finest members. My family had a great time and even though Nick missed the magic show and only fished for about a ½ hour it was still well worth the effort to go. My wife logged a ton of miles behind the wheel this weekend but Olivia and I got to spend some quality time together and that is worth it’s weight in gold.
To everyone that helped put this together and make it what it was Thank You! I am on the road 6 days a week and don’t see my family much so a day like this is priceless. We all had a great time, good fishing, good food, great entertainment, and spending some time with family and friends.
My mom, daughters and niece fueling up before hitting the water, with Team Chris Med in the background. Nice touch leaving the donuts and drinks for us latecomers. Thank you.
With the slight breeze, I decided to throw the anchor. Didn't take us long to start landing some sunnies and perch on worms with bobbers.
My oldest daughter, Pamela, scored first with a perch then a sunnie.
My niece Allison got in the action with a sunny.
Next, my youngest daughter, Samantha, got in the game with a perch.
Joe doing double-duty helping at the weigh-in before his magic show.
Large Fry and son weighing in.
Scott J. and boys getting ready to weigh-in.
Live fish. Better than any video game.
Brandon J. proudly displays his bass. The line of the day had to be when Brandon weighed in his fish and Joe asked him what he caught it on. He looked at Joe and gave him a one-word serious reply: "Dropshot."
After the food, it was time for prizes. Thanks to the Pauls, Fishing Factory III, and everyone who helped make it all happen! Thanks to all from the Game Dinner who bought raffle tickets that helped fund the Kids Day!
This was our first CTF kids event and it was great! My boys had a blast and the prize packs were incredible. They think Joe is the funniest magician in the world. Thanks to everyone involved with putting this together. AWESOME !!!!!
Congrats to all, looks like a Great time. The kids sure look Happy

You can take what you want from life......As long as you give a little Back. "We never get over the fishing fever, it's a delightful disease and thank the lord there is no cure". "CTF, is a lure I can not afford to NOT have in my pocket"
Don’t argue with Idiots.. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Our freedoms are being choked, big brother's grip is getting tighter.
Wow!! What can I say tha already hasn't been said. Like most of our other events this one just seems to get better every year. Smallfry and I had fun the whole way through, we were even the last ones to leave as we poked around to find a geocache or two afterwards. Our Captain was awesome, THANKS JON!! The fish treated us ok, JOE WAS AWESOME!! The food was good and the prizes were great. SmallFry's friends were greener than a largemouth when they saw the haul he brought home this year. Thanks again to Mitch, Paul and everyone else at CTF!!
What a day it was a lot of fun ,I had a blast and the pizza was awesome, yea I had a slice ,or 5 or 6. Paul you truly out did yourself with this event I look forward to next year already. Thanks to all who brought your kids and all that helped out.
What a crew we have at CTF ! ! My oldest daughter Emily just joined a different travel Softball team, the STING, so I took my youngest daughter Rachel and her friend Lexi.. They were fishing with their Barbie rods( Ya, really ! ) and I was throwing spinner baits out there and letting them reel it in. Rachel hooked into the 1 lb smallie, her eyes lit up, and could barely reel it in !!
Lexi got a sunny, and perch,BUT both engulfed the bait. I had to let them go without the picture.
The rest of the time, they listened to their E-Pod, dunked their heads looking for fish, and being typical 9 year old girls
Mitch comes up to us, I snapped this before his daughter wanted to go FAST because it was hot out
There they go ! !
This was another GREAT event, and am glad everyone had a great time..
Thank you to Joe the Magician, great show as always . Plum Tomato for the pizzas, and delivery.. Andrew at Fishing Factory for hooking us all up with the tackle boxes. Everyone else that helped out ,brought donations, tables, and kids !!
