Thanks very much for the reply so quickly. I guess I will start spending some cash today so I can ice fish next week.
I primarily fish in Rhode Island but occaisionally head over to Stonington and or put in at Barn Island. I just wanted to be legal.

Another 5 years and they will all be free for me. Something to look forward to I guess.

Thanx for the info. I knew why they were doing it & I like the thinking behind it.I also hope it helps you guys in enforement of the regulations. It just keeps getting confusing in whos doing what & how. PLus there is the whole issue of whos gonna line their pockets with the money from the licenses.From what I read & understood the fees were supposted to be nominal & all monies collect from the lisence sale were supposted to go back into conservation & enforcement.

Its Better to be Hated for who you are than loved for who your not..And If you wanna here God laugh ,tell him your plans...
