Ozzy sounded great at ozzfest last year, sang with black sabbath and never missed a beat. He seemed more lucid on stage than he was on his tv show.
If Ozzy's smart he's home counting his money while other people are touring for him. I don't like his handler Sharon much but I have a lot of respect for ozzy. He has passed the test of time.
I know that Sharon was screwing with maiden last year and can't figure it out, seems like it lost her money.
as far as black label society I didn't see too many people hating them on the 2nd stage this year. Maiden didn't carry ozzfest last year, it was a great show that was added to by maiden but without them it still would've been a great show.

How time flies.

Took my girlfriend to see them in Hartford back in the 80's on the Powerslave Tour. Good 'n loud !

A free CTF tape measure if anyone can remember who opened for them. :p

On a side note: Sorry to hear they have to perform at the Meadows with a perfectly good stadium across the river...

I saw Iron Maiden several times, the last being in the 80's when Twisted Sister was the opener.
That might just be the winner?
John.
P.S. On a side note, I know that thery're not heavy metal, but we're going to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Albany,NY Oct.21st.

I should've been here yesterday?
I was...
And I didn't catch anything then either!!!

I hear you there. I miss concerts at the civic center and also at the colloseium.
Ahh! The good old day's. I remember hoping on the Blue dot(Train) in Meriden. Going up to Hartford to see to many concerts to remember, one of the best was Deep Purple.
Concert ticket$15
Concert shirt$10
Buzzables $10
Train fare $3.00
Getting your ear's blown out and walking around the whole next day with your ear's ringing. Priceless. It's kind of funny when you hear stories from old people how exsensive everything is today compared to when they where kid's.
I must be getting old because, Look at what it used to cost for a whole night of fun and getting wasted compared to today.

Chris, pretty wild this thread was dormant for over a month and we both posted at the same time. Must be some kind of metal connection.

Hopefully see you at the show.

Also Alice Cooper is playing at one of the casinos Halloween night. That should be an awesome show also. Don't know if tickets have gone on sale yet?
