Balmar Marine Open House and Bass Fishing Seminars for the Novice Angler

Bass fishing is one of fastest growing recreation sports in the United States, which gives any newcomer the opportunity to enjoy the sport from either a lakeside bank or a boat. Within this sport are an ever increasing number of anglers who have taken this sport to the next level and to compete in bass fishing tournaments.
Throughout New England, 1000’s of tournaments are held every year and we would like to introduce our sport to all anglers who have read about our fun competitive sport of bass tournament fishing or who have caught nationally televised events at home. Balmar Marine, Marine USA Inc. and USA Bassin are hosting an open house for all current bass tournament anglers and future bass tournament anglers, at Balmar Marine, 132 Dowd Avenue Canton, Connecticut 06019. The event will be held on March 28th, from 9am to 1pm.
For those who are interested in learning more about bass fishing tournaments, two experienced bass tournament anglers, John DellaCamera and William Schwarz will be conducting a seminar: An Introduction to Bass Tournament Fishing, starting at 11am. If you have ever wondered what bass fishing tournaments are all about or want to know how to get started, you are invited to take part in this seminar.
Further, Billy "Hawkeye" Decoteau will also be on hand to provide a seminar: Revealing Tips & Techniques from the Pro's, starting at 12noon. Billy is an outdoor writer and Host of "The Bass Bureau...Where the Road meets the Water" cable TV Show. On display will be Billy’s Marine USA Nitro Bass Boat and The Bass Bureau will offer Free Handout's and Product Discounts only available at Balmar Marine for this event.
USA Bassin will be taking registrations and answering questions about their national team tournament trail to start in 2009 in Connecticut. This is a family friendly bass fishing tournament organization whose format is perfect for the novice to the experienced. Their two Connecticut Tournament Directors Jamie Verab and Paul Lucke will be on hand to answer questions.
Finally, to provide new and experienced anglers with a chance to purchase quality custom made bass equipment, Bio Edge Fishing Products, Power Tackle Rods, Naked Bait Company and Andy's Custom Bass Lures will be on hand.
