The second from the top is a cinnamon purple Berkley chigger craw. Unfortunately, it did not produce like I had hoped. If today was a practice day, it would have been awesome. I caught 30 keepers today, but they were all 1 1/2 pound cookie cutters; it was frustrating. What makes it even more frustrating is hearing how people caught big ones flipping mats. I only caught 3 flipping mats and they weren't big. I'm not sure what my plan of attack is for tomorrow. I caught a bunch of fish on a toad, a bunch on a frog, and a bunch on a spinnerbait. My goal is 13lbs tomorrow. Really my only goal is to beat Dusty so I don't have to hear about how great a fisherman he is!

Good Luck to the both of you. Jess if nothing else works make Dusty wear red and throw him over. Maybe he will catch their attention. Or ?????????

Catch and release, then catch again, and again, and again......

Unfortunately, I didn't beat Dusty today. I caught the same 5 fish I caught yesterday. I actually thought I would gain a few places in the standings catching the same weight, instead I fell from 63rd to 67th. I can't catch a big fish to save my life. My goal for tomorrow is 27lbs. Dusty caught a good one today and thinks he's the next KVD! He says he'll beat any one of you any time. He already owes me $50 from the Champlain tournament when I finished higer than him. If Dusty doesn't make the cut we'll leave for Georgia on Saturday morning. I'm leaving my boat at the local Ranger dealership so I don't have to tow it all the way down. It saves alot of gas money!

Good job guys. Congrats Dusty for top 10 finish. Good luck tomorrow. Do they ask you guys to keep the snakeheads to get rid of them? I think I counted 4 showing up at the weighin. I just checked the pairings. If you weighed in 1 lb 10 oz less you would of been paired with Ike Saturday.

Today was how the whole tournament was supposed to go. I didn't fish any differently, the bigger fish just bit today. I lost a few good ones and still managed to catch 14-11. I missed lunker by a few ounces with a 5.0 largemouth. Dusty had a good day and made the cut in 8th place. He was supposed to come in 11th so we could leave for Georgia tonight. He's fishing with David Dudleys father who happens to be one of the best on the Potomac River. Dusty has to come in 1st or 2nd to win the points title; Moo Bae came in 18th and was ahead of Dusty by 15 points after the Kerr tournament. Look for Dusty on stage in the Prilosec shirt tomorrow; he said he picked that one because he looks good in purple and teal.

And for the record, I beat Dusty 2 out of the 3 days and caught a bigger lunker! Dusty bet me another $50 that he would finish higher than me down at Clarks Hill; I don't know if I feel right taking all his money!
