Jess hang there I'm sure your grandfather is very proud fo you and there will be plenty of more days for you to fish. I also lived with my grandfather and the same thing happened to me 2 days after Christmas we found him on the floor it was 2 months b4 my wedding and we lost him I knew the wedding just wouldn't be the same. In time we heel but we never forget those times together. My prayers go out to both and god bless.

Thanks for all the kind words; I really appreciate it. On a higher note, my daughter and I fished an open tournament on Candlewood Lake today; it was her first one. I wasn't sure if she would want to go this morning so I was going to give her a choice when I went down to wake her up. No need for that, she woke me up at 5:15am dressed and ready to go; she wanted to know why I was still sleeping. She caught her first tournament fish about 10am; she was so excited(almost as much as I was). The smallie weighed about 2 3/4. She caught quite a few fish with 2 good enough to make it to weigh in. It was a beautiful day filled with boat problems, but we handled it in stride and ended up placing 2nd. A good day of fishing, an excuse to skip school, and getting paid for it; what's better than that?! I asked my daughter that question and without missing a beat, she said "winning!".
