Why is Bantam the only pike lake that has a closed season specifically on pike to protect the spawners? There are pike in other lakes that are preparing to spawn right now as well and those lakes are either closed because of trout season or still open (such as pachaug). Why aren't the spawning pike in those lakes protected too?
