Up and on the water again before the sun. Yesterday was all small bass and pickerel but no size.
Off to the frog pond.
I managed 2 quality fish on a frog over deeper water but the shoreline slop didn’t produce any action at all.
As the wind shifted, it blew the duckweed out and opened up some water that allowed me to throw a spinner bait, and that resulted in the big fish of the day. It had a very distinctive injury to its back but was healthy and took off like a freak.
Another fun morning, followed up with breakfast at noon, with friends.
