Since I left the kayak in the back of my truck, I got up early again and went back for a second helping of topwater explosions at the pad pond. I started out throwing a buzz bait along the weed lines, and it produced several nice fish, including a solid five pounder that absolutely smoked it. The frog bite was not as good today as it was yesterday, but I still managed a few on it and missed a few others. It was another great morning on the water!
