The 2012 regs say that the season opens for shad on April 1st in "Lower rivers and Tidal Waters". In the regs, the definition of "Lower rivers and Tidal Waters" includes the entire CT River... I take this to mean that there is NO CLOSED SEASON for american shad in the CT River. Is this correct?
