I Got out for the shotgun/rifle in Southbury
for the first time this morning, and almost
took a deer within the first minute of legal
light, on the way in. But I couldn't see if
it was a small buck or a doe.
I got setup on the ground about 10 min after,
and seen my first doe at 8am, I took her with
a neck shot at 75yds with my 270win. within
5 min I had more does all around me. I saw
8 does today, no bucks. I stayed till 10:30am!
