This is the third sales year for Phase II Lures, currently available from tackle dealers in ten states and on the website, http://www.phaseiilures.com . Starting with two darting swimmers, Junior (4", 3/4 oz.) and Poppy (6', 1 oz.) there are now six lure types, with Mongo (7.5", 2 oz., jointed needlefish swimmer) added in 2007, Scooter (4", 3/4 oz., floating popper) and Surf Dawg (6", 2 oz., heavy darting swimmer) added in 2008, and Dancer (6", 1.5 oz., topwater needlefish) added in 2009. A wide variety of colors is available and, all colors and all lure designs are proven fish-catchers before being offered to the market.
Phase II is happy to announce the newest hand-carved, hand-crafted cedar lures from Phase II, the "Silver Series." Each of the six lure designs is now available, with silver body, black back and a black spot on each shoulder. The inspiration for "Silver Series" lures is the ubiquitous menhaden, also called bunker or pogy, which is a favorite food for our inshore game fish. Phase II has personally fished the new silvers with success and is am confident they will catch fish for other fishermen.
A "Silver Series" announcement was recently made to selected retail tackle dealers. The new lures will be advertised on the Phase II website and available to the general public later this month.
