Just a day of chillin and grilling with old and new friends.

From Hartford: Take Route 44 west to Route 318 east in Barkhamsted. At 4 way stop go straight over steel bridge and take first left onto East River Road. Pavilion is approx. 1 1/2 miles up on the left at the Matthies Grove Recreation Area. From Rte 8: Take Route 44 east to Route 318 east in Barkhamsted. At 4 way stop, go straight over steel bridge and take first left onto East River Road. Pavilion is approx. 1 1/2 miles up on the left at the Matthies Grove Recreation Area. From Route 91: Take Route 20 west to Rte. 219 in West Ganby. Follow 219 to Rte318 in Barkhamsted. Go over the Saville dam. At the stop sign go left. Just before the steel bridge take a right onto East River Road. Pavilion is approx. 1 1/2 miles up on the left at the Matthies Grove Recreation Area.
Cool!...That is the last day of my vacation...I will be coming back from Long Beach Island...after a week of Jersey salt action, I can't think of a better way to spend my last day before heading back to the grind.
